Microneedling FAQ
We apply anaesthetic cream about an 1 hour prior to treatment, so you will only feel light vibrations instead of any pain.
Yes there will be some redness and swelling with some pin point bleeding. This can last between 24 to 48 hours after.
No, please do not wear make up on the day of the treatment
You can wear makeup the day after treatment although the skin may feel a little sensitive.
Straight after treatment the skin is going to be red with some pin point bleeding and slight swelling.
A week after treatment you might experience slight dryness , flaking and tightness of the skin
After 2-4 weeks, the skin will feel smoother, plumper with a healthy and fresh look.
Prior to Treatment
- 48 hours before treatment avoid Vitamin A, C, Retinols or Acids
- No active Sun tan on the day of treatment
Aftercare
- No excessive sweating for 24 to 48 hours from exercise etc.
- No hot baths, showers or harsh skincare products with active acids, retinols or vitamin A
- Before washing or touching the face or area make sure to wash your hands
- No sun Exposure for 2 weeks minimum
